Early Childhood at the Haines Center holds an online lottery each winter for those interested in the fee-based preschool program. Once the online lottery has concluded, a waitlist is available for families who were not selected, allowing them to be considered for any openings that may arise throughout the year.
The D303 Community Preschool has openings for the 2026-2027 school year. The Preschool Lottery will be held from January 19, 2026 - February 1, 2026. Names will be drawn on February 02, 2026 and you will be notified by end of day February 03, 2026 if you received a spot for the 2026-2027 school year. If you are interested in D303 Community Preschool for the 26-27 school year please fill out the link below for your child to be added to the lottery.
Early Childhood’s 26-27 start date is currently August 17, 2026. This date may be subject to change.
For the 2026-2027 school year, District 303 will offer a five-day-a-week, 1⁄2 day, morning or afternoon preschool program. The program will be open to children who reside within the D303 school boundaries and who are 3-5 years old and are not eligible for Kindergarten.
The Preschool fee for the program is $285* per month. A $100 annual non-refundable registration and materials fee will also be required.
